Houses, House Leads, Sisters
Are House Leads Trained?
Yes, U4U House Leads are trained college students. Many house leads are studying psychology or a related wellness track. Prior to becoming a house lead, background checks, safety training, and crisis support resource training are given to each candidate. Training is overseen or delivered by a trained professional.

How are girls sorted into houses?
Houses are balanced for grade level, diversity and support, not by geography.

How are girls assigned a sister?
Sisters are paired to maximize mutual support and growth. Having a sister match is optional and girls may be given the chance to request a older, younger or same age sister match.

What if a girl doesn't get along with her sister?
House leads help mediate, and if needed, reassignments can be made.

What if someone leaves a house?
The house continues, and new members may be added.

Can users change houses?
Yes, requests are reviewed case by case.

Will girls be paired with people they know (like classmates)?
Unless the U4U house is being set up within a school program or a youth group, to protect privacy, sisters are not matched with people from their school or social circles.
